Different tastes, shared experince

In Hungarian tradition many holidays are closely tied to food and drink and Easter is no exception. This year, as part of our belated company Easter celebration, we followed this custom as well, but instead of familiar flavors, we set out to explore something new. During a special rum tasting, we explored distinctive, characterful rums accompanied by a well‑structured and informative presentation.

Each rum clearly demonstrated just how diverse this spirit can be and everyone found a different favorite along the way. One of the biggest takeaways of the evening was that there is no such thing as a “good” or “bad” rum, only individual tastes and personal experiences. Some were drawn to bold, spicy notes, while others discovered their favorites among the softer, sweeter drinks. Beyond the tasting itself, the evening was all about good company and time well spent together.
