Our colleague, Gergő Jónás, walked away with the grand prize in the IBM SALES KICKOFF – Summer Football Night prediction game – an official World Cup football

Two colleagues from our sales team took part in IBM Hungary’s partner event on 07 July 2026, where, in addition to informal networking, the practical applications of artificial intelligence were also in the spotlight out on the terrace. It was a great opportunity for key players in the industry to meet outside the usual setting of the negotiation table.

A special highlight of the evening was an interactive football prediction game, in which IBM BOB’s analyses and statistics supported participants in making their match‑related forecasts. It was great to see how artificial intelligence can appear in a relaxed yet very illustrative way at a community event. In the end, it was our colleague, Gergő Jónás, who managed to outperform the AI with his predictions and took home a FIFA football as his prize.
