In June 2025, Barré Technologies Zrt. held its first internal developer competition, the Barré Restart 5.5.2 hackathon, where teams delivered working, documented and deployed solutions in 24 hours. The aim of the event was to deliver prototypes optimised for live environments in an intensively collaborative environment – something that the participants not only achieved, but exceeded. AI assistants were present in almost all teams, but the developers who were able to bring real added value were those who approached the problems with a deeper architectural perspective and experience. In addition to the technical performance, the atmosphere of the competition was particularly noteworthy: teams worked through an intense, late-night development cycle in a spirit of camaraderie and support. Based on the positive experience, the planning for next year’s event has already started.
